Plastic Connectors
Plastic connectors are lightweight and universal installation components, designed for quick and sealed connection of flexible protective conduits to devices, housings, and control cabinets. Made of high-quality plastics, they provide resistance to environmental and mechanical factors, as well as easy installation – often without the use of tools. The variety of available variants allows for flexible adaptation to the installation layout and working conditions.
FLEXA plastic fittings are a proven solution for cable routing in applications requiring reliability, installation flexibility, and a high class of IP protection. Thanks to snap-in mechanisms and compatibility with a wide range of corrugated conduits, they offer quick and durable installation without the need for tools. Straight, angled, branched, or flange versions allow the installation to be adapted to a specific spatial arrangement.
Characteristic features of plastic connectors
Resistance to environmental factors
Materials such as polyamide and elastomers provide resistance to moisture, UV radiation, oils, and many chemical substances.
Quick "snap-in" installation
The snap mechanism allows the conduit to be inserted without tools and securely locked in the fitting.
Various construction variants
The availability of straight, angled (90° and 45°), T-type, Y-type, and flange versions facilitates the routing of conduits in tight or non-standard spaces.
High tightness class
In combination with compatible FLEXA conduits, the fittings achieve a degree of protection of IP68 or IP69K – suitable also for outdoor applications or pressure washing conditions.
Adaptation for use in motion
Designed for applications exposed to vibrations, movement, and dynamic stresses – e.g., in machines, robotics, or vehicles.
Typical applications
- routing of cables in machines and production lines
- installations in control cabinets and automation enclosures
- cable protection in HVAC systems and building installations
- applications in robotics and mobile systems
- installations in the food, chemical, and energy industries
