CABseal Entry System
The PFLITSCH CABseal cable entry system is a modular solution for routing cables with or without connectors, guaranteeing reliable sealing and installation flexibility. Thanks to a design based on split frames and replaceable sealing grommets, the system allows for quick, safe, and tidy cable entry into enclosures and control cabinets. A high packing density, IP66 protection, and the ability to adapt to different cable diameters and numbers make CABseal an exceptionally versatile solution for industry. The system also meets the requirements of UL Type 4X and UL 94 V-0 standards, which confirms its resistance to external factors and fire.
Characteristic features of the CABseal system
Unlimited modularity
The system is split, which allows for flexible frame equipping, with all frames and grommets being compatible and able to be positioned freely.
Versatile grommets
Grommets with a flexible sealing lip geometry are available to compensate for cable tolerances. They are offered in GS sizes for cables from 3 mm to 16 mm and GL for cables from 16 mm to 33 mm. Double and multiple grommets are also available for cables with a diameter of 4 to 8 mm.
Constant IP 66 protection rating
All CABseal frames and grommets provide an IP 66 protection rating, which eliminates the need to verify this parameter for each new project.
Separate cable strain relief
CABseal grommets have holders for cable strain relief using cable ties, which can be placed both on the inside and outside.
Integrated frame seal
CABseal frames have an integrated, moulded elastomer seal, so no additional flat gasket is required.
Simple installation
The system is modular and easy to install, with the entire procedure always being identical and only requiring an Allen key.
High capacity
A single CABseal frame can accommodate up to 40 cables.
Durability and safety
The frames are made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide (PA 6.6), and the grommets are made of TPE, which provides a wide operating temperature range from –40°C to +100°C. The system is UL Listed certified (UL Type rating 4X indoor use only, 5), is RoHS compliant, halogen- and silicone-free, and has a UL 94-V0 flammability rating.
