SB series connectors are Anderson Power's most recognizable solution for DC power. Based on a single-piece plastic enclosure, genderless design, and spring-loaded contacts, they provide reliable connections with low resistance and high mechanical durability. The SB series is the default choice for traction batteries, UPSs, mobile devices, charging stations, and industrial systems.

 

Features of the SB series

Current range from 50 A to 350 A
Individual connector sizes are suitable for cables from 6 AWG to 4/0 AWG (i.e. from approx. 13 mm² to 120 mm²), with an operating voltage of up to 600 V DC (UL 1977).

Genderless design
One type of connector fits the other when rotated 180°, which simplifies storage and installation and eliminates the need to distinguish between male and female connectors.

Colored, mechanically coded enclosures
The colors correspond to specific operating voltages and are also mechanically keyed to prevent accidental connection of different voltage systems.

Very low connection resistance
Copper contacts with silver plating and stainless steel spring pressure ensure durable contact with very low contact resistance.

Single-piece enclosure made of durable plastic
Resistant to impact, abrasion and industrial environments. The design ensures mechanical durability and facilitates integration with enclosures.

Wide range of accessories
Available accessories include handles, dust covers, insertion ramps, installation tools, and contact crimping tools.
