Sheath pipes with a multi-layer construction (Multilayer Technology) offer significantly better protection against UV radiation, oils and aggressive atmospheric factors than standard single-layer sheaths. Thanks to the use of PA12+ polyamide, these sheaths are characterised by:
- Resistance to prolonged exposure to sunlight - ideal for outdoor installations, solar systems and railways.
- Increased durability in environments exposed to oils, fuels and chemicals - dedicated to the chemical and offshore industries.
- Improved mechanical strength while maintaining flexibility - they do not crack under dynamic stress.

S-Profile spiral construction and double interlacing (Agraff) - Maximum mechanical resistance and tightness

FLEXA protective pipes use two key mechanical technologies:
- Spirally wound S-Profile construction - provides high flexibility and abrasion resistance, used in systems where the pipe is regularly bent and exposed to dynamic loads.
- Double interlaced Agraff construction - thanks to the use of double overlapping metal profiles, pipes of this construction are tighter and more resistant to compression than standard spiral covers..

Protection against chemicals and corrosion

- Polyurethane PU coatings (ROHRflex PU, FLEXAgraff PUAS, FLEXAgraff PUF) - guarantee resistance to oils, fuels and chemicals, which is crucial in the automotive, chemical and railway industries.
- Galvanised steel (SPR-AS) – provides resistance to moisture and weather conditions, used in outdoor installations.
- Stainless steel (SPR-VA, FlexAgraff VA) - offers complete corrosion resistance, ideal for marine and offshore environments.

EMC protection - shielding against electromagnetic interference

Sensitive control, automation and telecommunications systems require effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). FLEXA uses metal braids and conductive screens to protect cables from electrical noise induction.
EMC shielding technologies::

IP67/IP68/IP69K tightness- protection against water and dust in harsh conditions
