ATEX Cable Glands
ATEX cable glands are specialized solutions designed for applications in areas with a risk of explosion, compliant with the ATEX directive (2014/34/EU). They ensure the safe entry of cables into enclosures in the presence of flammable gases, vapors, or dust, eliminating the risk of creating an ignition source. Thanks to a design that meets rigorous requirements and certification by notified bodies, these glands are used in the most demanding industrial environments.
ATEX glands are offered in versions for gas zones (Ex e, Ex d), dust zones (Ex t), and combined zones. In addition to the basic sealing function, they can also provide EMC shielding and work with armored cables or in applications requiring fire barriers.
