Braids, Weaves, Tapes and Stranded Cables

( number of products: 4 )

Braids, weaves, tapes, and stranded cables from Druseidt are a wide range of highly flexible conductors, including both uninsulated braided tapes and strands, as well as versions insulated with PVC or silicone. These products combine excellent conductivity with maximum flexibility, making them ideal for demanding electrical applications such as powering movable components, EMC shielding, and compensating for mechanical stresses. Available in many variants, from thin tapes to complete cable sets, they can be made according to the individual requirements of the manufacturer.

The product range includes braided copper tapes, round strands, EMC and grounding elements, as well as conductors insulated with PVC or silicone. The products are characterized by a modular construction from thin wires and the option to choose uninsulated versions or those covered with high-quality insulation. They are perfect where compact flexibility and durability are needed without compromising on conductivity.

Characteristic features

  • Exceptional flexibility resulting from the use of very thin wires (0.05–0.10 mm), braided or twisted.
  • Various types of insulation (PVC, silicone, PFA, TPE-U) adapted to application requirements.
  • The possibility of producing finished strands and "plug-and-play" cable sets.
  • EMC options: shielded braids, low-impedance grounding tapes for protection against interference.
  • Material variants: copper, aluminum, stainless steel - the choice depends on the environment and durability.

Typical applications

  • Powering movable components in limited space - e.g., in control cabinets, rail vehicles.
  • EMC shielding and grounding connections in energy and automation systems.
  • Compensation of stresses and vibrations in industrial machine installations and welding systems.
  • Connections in high-temperature or aggressive environments - silicone and stainless steel versions.
  • Prefabricated cable sets – quick installation and repeatability as "plug-and-play" components.
