Ventilated Cable Glands

( number of products: 14 )

Ventilated cable glands are solutions that prevent moisture condensation inside enclosures, especially those exposed to changing weather conditions and temperature fluctuations. They combine the function of a classic cable gland with a venting element that allows for pressure equalization without losing the seal. Thanks to this, they effectively protect electronics from damage, extending the lifespan of devices and increasing their reliability.

Ventilated glands are used where a standard seal is insufficient to protect against condensation. Their design allows for a high IP protection rating while enabling water vapor to escape and preventing a vacuum from forming in sealed enclosures.

Characteristic features of the offered ventilated glands

Pressure compensation
A built-in membrane or ventilation insert enables pressure equalization inside the enclosure, preventing moisture from accumulating in electronic systems, which reduces the risk of corrosion and failure.

Maintaining the seal
Despite the venting function, the glands maintain a high IP protection rating, protecting the interior from dust and water.

Environmental resistance
Resistance to UV, temperature fluctuations, rain, and chemical agents - ideal for outdoor use.

Easy installation
Installation is done as with a standard gland, without the need for special tools.

Typical applications of ventilated glands
