Metal Glands

( number of products: 83 )

Metal cable glands are components designed for sealing and routing cables in industrial applications where resistance to environmental conditions, durability, and the ability to use special functions - such as shielding or explosion protection - are essential.

The offer includes glands made of nickel-plated brass and stainless steel. The models differ in thread length, cable diameter range, sealing design, and the presence of additional functions (e.g., 360° shielding, anti-kink inserts, mechanical strain relief).

Characteristic features of the offered metal glands

Resistance to external conditions
Products achieve a sealing level of IP68 or IP69K and can be used in environments with increased humidity, dust, and in applications exposed to pressure washing.

EMC protection
Shielded glands allow for direct contact with the cable braiding, which enables effective grounding and the reduction of electromagnetic interference.

ATEX compliance
Selected models meet the requirements of the ATEX directive and can be used in areas with a risk of explosion, with both shielded and unshielded cables.

Resistance to pressure washing and chemicals
Variants made of AISI 316L steel with EPDM or silicone seals are adapted for use in food & beverage applications where both detergents and dynamic sanitary conditions (e.g., temperature changes, pressure washing) are present.

Variants with a long thread or an anti-kink insert
Models adapted for enclosures with thicker walls or for cables exposed to bending at the gland exit.

Applications of metal glands

  • cable connections in industrial cabinets and enclosures
  • installations in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries
  • systems requiring shielding of signal and power lines
  • EX zones (ATEX compliance)
  • applications with armored cables or with increased insulation diameter
