Ask about the product

Pre-assembled round strands and cable sets by Druseidt are comprehensive solutions in the field of ready-to-install connection elements and complete cable sets, manufactured from high-quality, non-insulated, highly flexible round conductors as well as insulated cables and wires. Our production, carried out on modern machines with varying degrees of automation, enables efficient and economical manufacturing of small series, single pieces, as well as larger batches. The manufacturer ensures continuous, repeatable quality thanks to extensive testing capabilities, including pull-out tests, electrical resistance measurements, and the creation and analysis of micrographs of cable end connections, with documentation available on request.

Range of Druseidt's pre-assembled round strands and cable sets

Flexible connectors made of round copper cables (10-300 mm²)
Made from highly flexible, bare or tinned copper cables with a single wire diameter of 0.07 mm (for cross-sections 10-16 mm²) or 0.10 mm (for 25-300 mm²)

Available in three basic variants:

  • Design A: with terminals according to DIN 46234.
  • Design B: with tubular cable lugs for fine-stranded cables.
  • Design C: with tubular cable lugs for fine-stranded cables with a narrow collar.

Insulation possible (e.g. with PVC, silicone, or heat-shrinkable tubes) and hole pattern changes available.

Flexible connectors made of insulated Lify wires (2.5-120 mm²)
Made from black or yellow-green PVC-insulated Lify wires.

  • Feature voltage-free crimped cable ends according to DIN 46234, with rubber sleeves covering the ends.
  • Also available in smaller cross-sections from 0.5 mm² and with crimped tubular cable lugs on request.
  • Can also be made from other insulated cables (e.g. H07 VK-cable, H01 N2-D, ESY/ESUY, Radox) and with various types of terminals.

Highly flexible connectors made of braided stainless steel wires (2.5-50 mm²)
Made from braided stainless steel wires A4 (material no. 1.4401) with a single wire diameter of 0.10 mm, with tubular cable lugs made of stainless steel A4 (material no. 1.4571).

  • The braid is woven like a plait to prevent unravelling.
  • Exceptionally flexible, allowing installation in tight spaces.
  • The manufacturer also offers versions adapted to individual needs, e.g. with cold-pressed stainless steel terminals in ring or hook form.

Connectors made of round ropes of A4 stainless steel
Intended for applications where flexibility is not a priority, but higher rope strength is required. Thanks to our crimping technology and dedicated cable lugs, they achieve very good pull-out strength values.

Druseidt silicone program

Highly flexible power connectors made from highly flexible silicone cables.

  • 1.8/3 kV versions meet the fire protection requirements of DIN EN 45545 for the railway industry and similar applications.
  • They feature a wide operating temperature range from -50 °C to +180 °C.
  • The silicone insulation is halogen-free, flame-retardant and self-extinguishing.

Within the Druseidt silicone program we offer:

Highly flexible power connectors with soldered contact ends (50-300 mm²)
With seamlessly pressed, non-soldered contact ends, providing an extremely compact contact surface. Ideal for applications where movement is required or in tight installations. Available in single-, double-, triple- and quadruple-layer designs.

Highly flexible power connectors with pressed cable lugs (4-300 mm²)
With solderless, pressed tubular lugs or terminals according to DIN 46234, with the space between the terminal and the cable covered by a silicone sleeve.

Highly flexible power connectors with tubular cable lugs with a narrow collar (35-240 mm²)
Allow for safe and durable connections in very confined installation spaces, offering excellent solutions in smaller control cabinets and distribution boards.

Highly flexible plug-in power connectors (10-120 mm²)
With a pressed tubular cable lug on one side, and optionally with a pressed plug or socket with a latch locking system on the other side.

Highly flexible connections with additional insulating clamp (10-300 mm²)
Druseidt’s special crimping technology creates high-quality, moisture-resistant electrical connections with excellent vibration resistance. The additional insulating clamp transfers the bending point to the insulated part of the cable, providing extra protection against moisture and dirt, eliminating the need for additional heat-shrink tubing and significantly improving service life compared to cables with standard lugs.

Typical applications

  • Equipotential bonding and earthing connections in power and automation systems
  • Flexible current bridges in devices and distribution cabinets
  • Power supply for moving components in limited installation spaces
  • Installations in rail vehicles, meeting DIN EN 45545 requirements
  • Connections in control cabinets and panels requiring very flexible wires
  • Systems with high resistance to vibration, moisture, and dirt in the machinery industry
  • Power systems in chemically aggressive environments (A4 stainless steel)
  • Welding applications using H01 N2-D or Lify cables
  • Quick connectors with plug or socket with latch locking – for devices with interchangeable power supply
