About Druseidt

Flexible Connectors

Druseidt develops and manufactures a comprehensive range of flexible and highly flexible components for power transmission, which are used in industrial and high-voltage installations. The company specialises in both air-cooled and water-cooled solutions. Druseidt products combine the highest technical parameters with the ability to adapt to customer requirements.

Product Groups

Copper Braided Tapes
Druseidt manufactures highly flexible copper tapes made of soft-annealed copper ETP1 (according to DIN EN 13602), in uncoated or tinned versions. The braids are made by braiding wires with a diameter of 0.05 mm to 0.10 mm, which provides exceptional flexibility and excellent current conductivity. The tapes are then flattened to the appropriate width and thickness dimensions. These products are used for grounding, lightning protection, connecting moving parts in installations and vibration compensation.

Druseidt water-cooled cables

Laminated and pressed copper foil connectors
Pressing and welding technology allows the creation of highly flexible and very strong connectors made of multiple layers of thin copper foils. By eliminating soldering, better conductivity and longer service life of the connector are achieved. Used in high-current installations, busbar systems and places requiring compact solutions for the transmission of high currents.

Flexible aluminum tapes and stainless steel tapes
For chemically aggressive or marine environments, Druseidt offers braided tapes made of aluminum (AL 99.5) and stainless steel (1.4401). Aluminum is lightweight and conducts electricity well, while stainless steel provides resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. Ideal for the chemical industry, shipbuilding and special applications.

Braided shielding cables
Tubular copper braids are used as EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) shields protecting cables and devices from electromagnetic interference. These products are available in various cross-sections and options (wires Ø 0.10 / 0.20 / 0.30 mm), optionally tinned for increased durability.

Highly flexible copper cables
Cables made of ultra-thin wires (0.05 mm, 0.07 mm, 0.10 mm) with exceptional flexibility, available both without insulation and with PVC, silicone or special insulation (e.g. TPE-U). Ideal for applications in confined spaces where high current transfer capacity is required with a minimum bend radius.

Water-cooled cables
Druseidt also offers advanced water-cooled cable systems designed for installations with extremely high currents and temperatures – such as arc furnaces, the steel industry or large-scale systems. The catalog also includes accessories: quick connectors, clamps, water hose sets.

Ready-made cable sets and assembly components
In addition to standard products, Druseidt manufactures thousands of specialized components to order: from ready-made current tapes, through PVC and silicone sheathed cables, to connectors integrated with cable lugs or assembly systems.

Applications

Druseidt products are used in many industrial sectors, where the following are key: transmission of large currents, compensation of structural movements, resistance to vibrations and durability in difficult environmental conditions.
