Blueglobe
The Blueglobe series comprises technologically advanced PFLITSCH cable glands that, thanks to a unique design with a spherical sealing insert, offer excellent sealing, mechanical resistance, and ease of installation. Blueglobe is a solution designed for a wide range of uses – from standard applications to those requiring EMC protection, vibration resistance, high-pressure cleaning, or operation in sanitary conditions.
Characteristic features of Blueglobe cable glands
Spherical sealing insert
Instead of a typical lamellar design, Blueglobe uses a flexible spherical insert that distributes pressure evenly around the entire circumference of the cable. This method of sealing prevents the so-called notching effect, which in classic cable glands can lead to insulation damage. This solution provides an IP68 protection rating up to 15 bar and IP69K, allowing for use in environments exposed to moisture, high-pressure cleaning, and dust.
High mechanical and vibration resistance
Thanks to a compact and stable design, Blueglobe cable glands offer tensile strength that exceeds the requirements of class B according to the EN 62444 standard by as much as 100%. This enables safe cable routing in machinery and equipment exposed to intense vibrations or dynamic loads.
Wide sealing range with fewer sizes
The multi-stage insert with three puncture points allows for a significant expansion of the cable diameters that can be sealed in a single cable gland. For example, three sizes (M16, M25, M40) cover a range from 4 to 32 mm in cable outer diameter, which in traditional solutions would require as many as five cable gland sizes. This helps to reduce inventory requirements, simplifies component selection, and speeds up installation.
Material versions adapted to the working environment
Blueglobe is available in three material variants:
- nickel-plated brass - universal, industrial
- AISI 303 stainless steel - for chemically aggressive, food, and sanitary environments
- plastic (PA) - lightweight, UV-resistant, for standard applications
Resistance to high and low temperatures
Depending on the seal material, the cable glands can operate in a wide temperature range: from –40 °C to +130 °C (TPE) or even from –55 °C to +200 °C (silicone). This allows for safe use in outdoor installations, in heating or cooling applications.
Thoughtful assembly and ergonomics
All components of the cable gland, including the nut and body, have the same wrench size, which simplifies assembly and reduces the risk of damage. The small number of parts and no need for specialized tools further contribute to installation speed and operational reliability.
Clear product markings
The cable glands are marked in a way that facilitates quick identification during assembly and servicing - each marking includes the type, size, and material version.
