Cable Housings
Cable housings are a key element of rectangular connector systems, designed for the safe entry and termination of cables. Their main function is to enable the easy and sealed routing of a cable to the connector, while providing mechanical and environmental protection. These housings are equipped with threads for installing cable glands. When connected with surface-mounted or panel-mounted housings, they form a complete, reliable set for use in industrial environments.
Characteristic features:
Entry threads
Sealing: high IP65/IP69 protection level
Material: aluminum, zinc, plastic
Locking levers: versions with one or two levers – for connecting to the second part of the connector
Special options: detergent resistance, corrosion resistance, EMC versions, detectable in control systems.
Applications:
- power supply and signaling in industrial control systems
- machine rooms, operator panels, robotics
- environments exposed to water, dust, chemicals
- areas with increased hygiene (e.g., the food industry – for selected series)
