Druseidt insulating hoses and mounting accessories are specialised solutions that support the safe routing and protection of cables and connectors in electrical and high-voltage systems. The range includes flexible thermoplastic electrical insulation hoses, as well as dedicated holders, clamps and accessories for installing large-diameter and heavy cables.
Range of Druseidt insulating hoses and mounting accessories
Heat-shrinkable tubing Various types of heat-shrinkable tubing are available, characterised by high flexibility and stability. Designed for insulating cables, electrical wires, cable connectors, busbars and other current-conducting elements.
- Temperature resistance: From -55 °C to +125 °C (standard black) or up to +135 °C (other types).
- Dielectric strength: Min. 19.7 kV/mm or approx. 20 kV/mm.
- Special versions: High shrink ratio (4:1), tubes with internal adhesive, yellow-green tubes for marking ground connections.
- Options: Chemical-resistant, heat-resistant (e.g. silicone, PTFE), thick-walled for medium-voltage busbars or pipes.
- Compliance with UL and CSA standards.
Flexible PVC Insulation Tubing These tubes are characterised by their flexibility. Available in grey and yellow-green.
- Temperature resistance: From -20 °C to +90 °C.
- Dielectric strength: 20 kV/mm.
Highly Flexible Silicone Insulation Tubing Natural-coloured silicone tubing, ideal for electrical insulation or cable sealing.
- Temperature resistance: -50 °C to +180 °C.
- Dielectric strength: 20 kV/mm.
- Can be used under fibreglass hoses for additional thermal protection.
Fibreglass Hoses Protective hoses used where higher temperature resistance is required, e.g. in glassworks.
- Black (impregnated): up to +300 °C, non-stretchable, cut-resistant.
- White (non-impregnated): up to +450 °C, soft and stretchable.
Refractory Hoses Consist of a densely woven thermal layer and a silicone coating. Used for extreme thermal loads, e.g. in the steel, foundry and glass industries.
- Temperature resistance:
- Standard: core up to +800 °C (continuous), short-term up to +1100 °C; silicone coating up to +300 °C (continuous), short-term up to +500 °C.
- Heavy-duty versions: core up to +700 °C (continuous), silicone coating up to +250 °C.
- Fire-resistant, self-extinguishing, durable, halogen-free.
- Certificates: EN 45545-2-2016-02-R22/R23-H23, German Lloyd.
Bimetal sheets and washers Bimetal sheets (aluminium coated with copper) enable a safe and corrosion-resistant connection between copper and aluminium. We offer ready-made parts, bimetal washers and cut-outs according to customer requirements.
Fasteners Druseidt offers a wide range of fasteners:
- Washers and clamping discs: A2 stainless steel or spring steel.
- Threaded rods: A2/A4 stainless steel or brass.
- Hexagon head screws: A2 stainless steel.
- Washers, spring washers and toothed washers: A2 stainless steel or bronze.
- Hex nuts: A2 stainless steel.
- Insulating bushings: epoxy-glass resin, resistant to temperature and pressure.
- Wing nuts and wing nut screws: A4 stainless steel or brass.
Copper Pastes and Cleaning Sprays We offer pastes and sprays for maintenance and cleaning:
- Copper paste: Electrically conductive, resistant to high temperatures (from -30 °C to +1100 °C), protects against corrosion, non-drip, sealing.
- Contaclean spray: Removes oxide and sulphide deposits from metal surfaces, lubricates and protects against corrosion.
- Spray wash spray: Cleans dirt and grease, removes oxide layers formed after using Contaclean.
- Degreasing spray: Effectively removes grease, oil, wax and other dirt; displaces moisture and water.
