MIXO Modular Inserts
MIXO is ILME's modular insert system, which allows for assembling industrial connectors comprised of different types of circuits: power, signal, communication, optical, and pneumatic. Instead of a single insert with a fixed function, the connector is built from several independent modules mounted in frames. This allows for creating connectors tailored to a specific application, whilst maintaining compatibility with a wide range of ILME housings.

Diverse transmission functions
The range includes modules for:
- power transmission (up to 300 A)
- analogue and digital signals
- communication circuits (RJ45, USB, HDMI, D-Sub)
- optical transmission (LC/SC optical fibres)
- compressed air transmission (1-3 pneumatic channels)
Flexible connector composition
Modules have an assigned unit width (1-3 modules), allowing for efficient use of frame and housing space.
Compatibility with the ILME system
All MIXO modules are designed for mounting in standard ILME frames, which ensures compatibility with a wide range of housings and accessories.
Durable construction and environmental resistance
The contacts and module housings are made from industrial materials resistant to temperature, vibration, and the external environment. Shielded versions (for signals), coaxial and with special optical shielding are offered.
Specialized and high-current connectors
Inserts with large-section contacts (up to 95 mm²) with a current capacity up to 300 A are available, as well as connectors that enable a switching sequence (e.g., a PE pin with a modified length).
