Uncompromising hygiene – CLEAN Plus cable glands

In response to the requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries, PFLITSCH has developed the blueglobe CLEAN Plus series of cable glands. This solution addresses each of the above-mentioned issues, based on the principles of Hygienic Design and EHEDG certification.

Seamless Design

The gland design has no gaps or recesses. Smooth stainless steel surfaces (with a roughness of Ra < 0.8 µm), rounded transitions and a large radius of edge rounding (>3 mm) ensure that water and detergents can easily reach every area and flow freely, leaving no dirt or deposits behind.

Resistance to Aggressive Environments and Washing Processes

The glands are made of high-quality stainless steel (1.4404 and 1.4305) and sealing materials (TPU, silicone) compliant with FDA, EU and Ecolab regulations regarding contact with food. This guarantees chemical resistance to most industrial cleaning and disinfecting agents. The sealed design ensures high protection ratings of IP 68 (up to 15 bar) and IP 69, protecting the interior of the enclosure even during high-pressure washing.

blueglobe TRI CLEAN Plus – EMC shielding variant. The internal triangular spring ensures good contact with the shielding braid around the entire circumference of the cable, protecting sensitive electronics from interference.

blueglobe CLEAN Plus Polyamid - economical version for less demanding applications. HTS high-temperature version also available.
