For hygienic cable protection – protective conduits from PFLITSCH

In hygienic environments such as the food and pharmaceutical industries, cable protection must withstand harsh conditions – from contact with aggressive chemicals to limited installation space and intensive cleaning procedures. It is crucial to ensure safety in accordance with hygiene requirements. These systems must be resistant to cleaning agents, oils and chemical fluids, and also allow several cables to be routed together. In places where the installation runs through narrow spaces between machines, effective protection against mechanical damage is essential. It is equally important to maintain the flexibility of the cables, allowing them to be freely arranged and adapted to the requirements of dynamic production lines.
Uncompromising cable protection

PFLITSCH protective conduits are the answer to the challenges faced by the food and pharmaceutical industries. They feature:
- Compliance with FDA and EHEDG standards
- Easy to clean and resistant to cleaning agents, oils and chemicals; compliant with FDA and EHEDG standards
- High mechanical resistance with high flexibility
- Resistance to high temperatures – up to +120°C for short periods
- Compatibility with Blueglobe CLEAN Plus cable glands
PFLITSCH conduit variants

Corrugated protective tubing with a polyamide coating that complies with FDA standards. It is distinguished by its exceptional chemical resistance and ability to operate at elevated temperatures for short periods of time temperatures (up to +120°C). Its structure ensures both high flexibility and effective protection of cables in applications with a high risk of contact with aggressive cleaning agents.
- Temperature range: -20°C to +95°C (short-term up to +120°C)
- Construction: corrugated
- Internal diameter: 11.8–46.7 mm

The reinforced pressure hose (PUR 441) maintains the same high hygienic properties, but thanks to an additional reinforcement layer, it can better withstand mechanical loads and intensive use. Its design allows the hose to be routed in tight bending radii without the risk of damage or loss of tightness.
- Temperature range: -40°C to +90°C
- Construction: smooth inside and outside
- Internal diameter: 8–19 mm

Unreinforced pressure hose made of polyurethane (PUR 401) – an economical option, ideal for applications where ease of cleaning and flexibility are key. Thanks to its smooth inner and outer surface, it does not retain debris and does not create areas where dirt can accumulate, which is important in areas with limited mechanical requirements.
- Temperature range: -40°C to +90°C
- Construction: smooth inside and outside
- Internal diameter: 8–19 mm
