Radiall Van-System GM - modular bayonet connectors
- Modular bayonet connectors are a flexible solution for many applications: power supply, signal transmission, data transmission. They will work in difficult conditions and in many industrial applications, including demanding ones, e.g. in railway.
Radiall Van-System GM
The circular bayonet connectors from the GM series are distinguished by two features: modularity, which ensures flexibility in the selection of applications (power supply, signal transfer or data transmission) and high resistance to harsh working conditions. The latter feature makes these connectors an ideal solution for demanding applications, e.g. in railway applications.
Designed to accept modules for various purposes: Ethernet, fiber optics, data transmission, coaxial connections, power cables, signals (up to 14 wires). In addition, each of the modules used is pneumatically sealed in its subordinate housing.
Features of GM connectors:
- Bayonet mount based directly on the reliable CVBS series,
- 5 keyed guiding system, mechanical coding, variable combined polarization system,
- High grade efficiency shielding for each module’s EMI/RFI protection,
- Audible, visible and tactile mating. One quarter turn lock for coupling,
- Comply all requirements of transit applications,
- IP67 rating (according to EN 60529),
- Rubber coated coupling nut offers damping protection against mechanical shock.
GMM connectors:
Designed for power and transmission modules (signals and data). Similarly to GM connectors, they are universal and will prove themselves in many industrial solutions.
Features of GMM connectors:
- Ethernet and data transmission (Cat. 7A Tested according to Trenitalia 376575, Cat. 7, 6A, 6, 5E, 5, MVB, RS485, WTB),
- Coaxial connections (RG cables, application Wi-Fi 2.4GHz & 5 GHz, GSMR, GPS, WLAN),
- Fibre optics (Accepted optical contacts SC type, 2/4 Expanded Beam),
- Power connection, signals up to 14 wires,
- High level of performance,
- EMI protection, each module is shielded alone with grounding finger,
- Each module is pneumatically sealed and installed in the shell.
