PFLITSCH Automobile-Trunking cable ducts are an industrial solution developed specifically for the automotive industry and production environments. Their design is not only lightweight and rigid, but above all suitable for walking on, allowing installation directly in work areas. Thanks to pre-drilled mounting holes and high-precision workmanship, the system facilitates quick, repeatable installation and safe cable routing.

Exceptional strength and load-bearing capacity
Automobil-Trunking by PFLITSCH is designed for extreme industrial conditions. Made of 2 mm thick galvanised sheet steel, it is exceptionally stable – even with large distances between support points. This applies to both smooth sheet metal and the base of the corrugated sheet metal (aluminium). The design of the trunking allows it to be used safely as a floor element – it can withstand a pressure of up to 1200 N, which means that it is safe to walk on. The Schwerlastdeckel cover made of corrugated sheet metal provides anti-slip properties in accordance with class R10.
Suitable for industrial environments
The standard height of Automobil-Trunking is 100 mm. When mounted on 90 mm high support feet, the total height of the installation does not exceed 200 mm, which is particularly important for floor installations. The bottom of the duct has standard longitudinal perforations to facilitate further installation work.
Flexible cable and media management
The duct is available in seven cross-sections, ranging from 100 mm to 600 mm in width, allowing for a wide range of applications in various installations. Thanks to the longitudinal openings in the bottom of the duct, the universal partition walls can be freely positioned, enabling EMC-compliant separation. In this way, independent chambers can be created for power cables, signal cables, control cables, as well as pipes for liquids or compressed air. What is more, the system allows for the integration of PIK ducts with smaller cross-sections – for the safe routing of delicate cables in a closed internal track.
Versatile mounting and adaptation options
Thanks to the use of variable connectors, the duct can be positioned between 90° and 270° in the vertical plane, allowing for individual adjustment of the installation route. The universal connectors (UVL 180) with perforations in the middle can be bent manually to any angle. The duct can be individually adapted to the installation conditions using PFLITSCH tools and machines, or ordered as a ready-made set of components. The covers are secured with bolt locks – in versions with three (RV3) or six (RV6) locks, depending on the width of the duct. The locks are supplied as two-piece kits for self-assembly.
Wide range of accessories
The Automobil-Trunking system offers an extensive range of accessories for the construction of complex cable routes and adaptation to specific project requirements. The range includes heavy-duty duct bodies and covers, elbows, bends, tees, various types of connectors, dividing profiles, support profiles, floor brackets, Z-shaped mounting profiles, internal end caps, as well as screws and nuts.
Certified quality and safety
Automobile-Trunking is VDE certified, confirming its compliance with safety standards. Stainless steel components are classified in accordance with CSA C22.2 No. 126.1-09.
