Radiall Van-System SPPC/S-BOX - single-pole power connectors
- The SPPC line consists of power connectors (PWL, HK and JLP) and a distribution box (S-BOX), which stands out its resistance to high rated current. The connectors will prove themselves in industrial applications requiring a stable, high-quality product.
Radiall Van-System SPPC/S-BOX
Among the single-pole connectors we can distinguish the following series: SPPC-PWL-2.0/SPPC-PWL, S-BOX, SPPC-HK, SPPC-JLP. Each series has specific parameters that make this line extremely versatile, and the products are perfectly developed for industrial applications.
SPPC-PWL-2.0/SPPC-PWL
The single pole power connectors in this series are designed to provide safe, reliable and fast cable-to-cable or cable-to-equipment connections in electrical power distribution systems.
Characteristics:
- clear connector coding system to prevent accidental connection,
- current and voltage up to 500A and 1000V (SPPC-PWL-2.0) or up to 750A and 1000V (SPPC-PWL),
- cable cross-section from 35 mm2 to 150 mm2 (SPPC-PWL-2.0) or 300 mm2 (SPPC-PWL),
- when connected, the connector provides IP67 ingress protection (according to EN 60529),
- protection against direct contact (Finger Protected) IP2x for plug connector and socket,
- multi-louver contacts,
- single-pole connector with a key (KSPC - keyed single-pole connector) and the keyways used in them effectively prevent connection errors,
- VDE certification (SPPC-PWL-2.0 in version S150/SPPC-PWL in version 750A),
- cURus certification (SPPC-PWL-2.0 for S150, T5 and TH5/SPPC-PWL-2.0 for S120 and T4),
- CE compliant.
S-BOX
The distribution box has been developed to increase the safety of use. This solution is designed to help avoid disconnection of the high-current installation under load. This is ensured, e.g. a system that enables to place the connectors in the correct order after matching them with a locking key.
Characteristics:
- coding system to prevent connection errors,
- rated current up to 750A, rated voltage up to 1000V,
- cable cross-section from 35 to 300 mm2,
- guaranteed protection at the IP67 level after connection (according to EN 60529),
- Finger Protected IP2x,
- multi-louver contacts.
SPPC-HK
- intuitive connector coding system preventing errors during connection,
- withstand current and voltage up to 400A and 1200V,
- the connector enables the use of a cable from 16 to 120 mm2,
- multi-louver contacts
- reduced flange size option,
- assembly and detachment of the connector is done without the use of tools,
- spring locking axial action,
- when connected, the connector achieves the IP67 ingress protection level (according to EN 60529),
- contacts with Finger Protected IP2x protection,
- single-pole connector with a key (KSPC - keyed single-pole connector) and the keyways used in them effectively prevent connection errors,
- CE compliant.
SPPC-JLP
- withstand load up to 780A (rated current) and 1000V (rated voltage),
- ingress protection rating after connection is guaranteed by IP67 (in accordance with EN 60529),
- accepted lugs with a cross section of 120, 185, 240 and 300 mm 2 and a hole size of 12 mm,
- other tip sizes can be fitted to the same device with special accessories,
- reusable,
- reduces the need for junction boxes,
- quick montage,
- daisy chain system,
- working temperature: -30°C ÷ +120°C.
The HOOK series are single-pole power connectors that offer even more possibilities to use the electrical connection, even in places where it has been difficult so far. It is a cost-optimal solution that guarantees robustness, reliability and safety of the installation. It is protected on both sides against uncontrolled touch and uses an innovative locking mechanism.
Characteristics:
Lug joint protection that creates a safe and reliable temporary connection/extension to single-core power cords pre-terminated with copper lugs.
Characteristics:
The quality of workmanship, parameters of individual products, durability and safety of connectors make them suitable for many applications, i.e.:
- power distribution,
- utilities,
- Electric Vehicles,
- railway Equipment,
- Military Field Power,
- mobile generators,
- loadbanks,
- Back-up Power Systems.
